In the movie "Wag the Dog," Conrad, playing â€Å"Mr. Fix it,† employs the technique of doublespeak to take off the gross appearance of the president’s sex scandal. He diverts the attention of the public to other false war stories, making the situation seem less serious. In the movie, Motss emerges in the media and public belief that the war story is true, while also believing the idea of sex scandal to be true.
